Important Notes Before You Start
- This procedure requires one working ignition key. If you don not have one, then this remote must be programmed by your dealer or an automotive locksmith
Programming Procedure
- Ensure that all remotes expected to work for the vehicle are present. Any remotes that are not present will stop functioning until they are reprogrammed
- Close all doors, then open the driver's door
- While door is open, press the "UNLOCK" button on master window switch and insert key in the ignition
- Turn ignition from "OFF" to "RUN" 8 times within 10 seconds (8th time must end in "RUN" position)
- Doors will lock and unlock indicating that the vehicle is in "programming mode
- Within 20 seconds, press any button on the first remote. Doors will lock and unlock to confirm programming
- Within 20 seconds, press any button on the first remote. Doors will lock and unlock to confirm programming
- repeat step 6 for all the remaining remotes that need to be programmed
- Turn the key to "OFF" position. Doors will lock and unlock to confirm end of programming mode
- Wait 10-20 seconds and then test programming by locking and unlocking vehicle
