Key Fob Programming Instructions For Buick Oldsmobile Pontiac L2C0007T 4 Button

Important Notes Before You Start:

  • This procedure requires one working ignition key

Programming Instructions For:

  • 2002-2007 Buick Rendezvous
  • 2001-2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue
  • 2001-2005 Pontiac Aztek
  1. Close all doors
  2. Press and hold the door "UNLOCK" button on the master window switch. Do not release until step 6
  3. Insert the working key into the ignition then remove it (do not turn the key in ignition)
  4. Insert the key again into the ignition then remove it (do not turn the key in ignition)
  5. Insert the key again into the ignition, but this time do not remove it (do not turn the key in ignition)
  6. Release the "UNLOCK" button on the master window switch. A Chime will sound 3 times indicating that the vehicle has entered the programming mode
  7. Press and hold the door "LOCK" and "UNLOCK" buttons on the remote for up to 30 seconds
  8. A chime will sound for 2 seconds indicating that the remote has been successfully programmed
  9. Repeat step 7 for any additional remote that needs to be programmed
  10. To exit the programming mode, please remove the key from ignition cylinder
  11. Test the remote

Troubleshooting

  • If the procedure above did not work, please do step 3 before step 2

Programming Instructions For:

  • 2001-2004 Buick Regal
  • 2001-2005 Buick Century
  1. Ensure that all remotes expected to work for the vehicle are present. Any remotes that are not present will stop functioning until they are reprogrammed
  2. Close all doors
  3. Insert the working key into the ignition
  4. Turn the key to "ON" position (without cranking ignition)
  5. Remove the key from ignition cylinder
  6. Press and hold the door "UNLOCK" button on the master window switch. Do not release until step 10
  7. Insert the working key into the ignition then remove it (do not turn the key in ignition)
  8. Insert the key again into the ignition then remove it (do not turn the key in ignition)
  9. Insert the key again into the ignition, but this time do not remove it (do not turn the key in ignition)
  10. Release the "UNLOCK" button on the master window switch
  11. A Chime will sound 3 times indicating that the vehicle has entered the programming mode
  12. Press and hold the door "LOCK" and "UNLOCK" buttons on the remote for up to 30 seconds
  13. A chime will sound for 2 seconds indicating that the remote has been successfully programmed
  14. Repeat step 12 for the remaining remotes including the working remotes
  15. To exit the programming mode, please remove the key from ignition cylinder
  16. Test all remotes

Programming Instructions For:

  • 2001-2003 Pontiac Grand Prix
  1. Ensure that all remotes expected to work for the vehicle are present. Any remotes that are not present will stop functioning until they are reprogrammed
  2. Remove the key from ignition cylinder
  3. Unplug the BCM PRGRM fuse or MALL PGM fuse from the fuse box (you only need to remove one fuse)
  4. Close all doors
  5. Insert the key in ignition cylinder and turn it to "ACC" position by turning it counterclockwise
  6. Open the driver's door
  7. Close the driver's door
  8. A chime will sound indicating that the vehicle has entered the programming mode
  9. Press and hold the door "LOCK" and "UNLOCK" buttons on the remote for up to 30 seconds
  10. Two chimes will sound indicating that the remote has been successfully programmed
  11. Repeat step 10 for the remaining remotes including the working remotes
  12. To exit the programming mode, please remove the key from ignition cylinder
  13. Plug the fuse that was removed in step 3
  14. Test all remotes
